I haven't had need to use one of these junction boxes for many years. I bought this one 'just in case'. I ended up not using it. It wasn't the quality of the ones that I used to use. It's in the bottom of my toolbox. 3*
This was just what I needed. Snapped a cable and had to fix it.
Not yet used, but look to be exactly as described, so fine
As always excellent service form theWorthing team and very good value.
Not what I thought, the entrance holes are on the back. There is little description on the website an additional picture of the inside would have been good.
Very good for extending existing wiring from PIR to shock sensors on rear doors, and they have a tamper too!
Fir my needs exactly what i needed good compact size
Good for alarm systems, this has basic screw terminals in (not a choc block) and also has an anti tamper switch on so primarily appears to be aimed at joining alarm cables. I used it for a Ring doorbell, just be wary that there is limited space in there and the unit is quite small.
Good quality product, cheap and cheerful price, I use a lot of these so good to know they’re always in stock
Nothing wrong with item itself but why, why, why put the label on the front rather than the rear. Extra time spent cleaning as it was in an area where it would be seen!
This is a good little neat box for alarm cables or telephone cables.
The perfect alarm joint box to have reliable and worth having in my stock
Just what I needed. Excellent little junction box.
Ideal for Intruder alarm wiring or telephone .
This is an alarm industry style alarm connection box. None of them are very good. Unlike electrical connections, these boxes have a screw head you have to wrap the wire around and then screw down. They are very fiddly. If you need a small box to extend an alarm cable, then this will do fine. Toolstation do not sell the larger rectangular boxes, but even these have screw head terminals and are not very good. Yet to find decent quality alarm junction boxes, no fault on Toolstation, they have to stock what is available.
I needed just one of these and Toolstation was the only place where I could by one at a sensible price. The box is fine and yes the barcode label is very sticky and takes a bit of removing, but a short application of kitchen roll soaked with "Sticky Stuff" remover cleaned it up a treat.
I needed a connection box to extend some speaker cables. Small enough so it isnt unsightly but plenty of room to make connections. The sticky lables are very difficult to remove. Had to use WD to remove.
Does the job as intended but the major problem is being sold without packaging and having a large sticky lable covering 3 sides, which is impossible to remove cleanly.
