These make it easier to escape from a fire when used on exit doors a life saver when you can't find the key
Considering how much simple they are too make them standard locks, it is unnecessary to be making the thumbs connection so badly. Even with minor blockages on a door frame these are prone to to stuck in a lock position needing to be opened from key side. I have seen this happen to way to many of these for an electrician
Even though these are much cheaper to manufacture them basic locks, in effort to save money the thumb connection is very weak.
That locks have now build the name for people struggling to get out even when locks on the other side are fine.
Description on website states thumb turn side is 45mm this is not true, it is 40mm so be very careful if you are buying this size. There is a similar review from 1 year ago & nothing has been done to update the description.
Overall good product, but the thumbturn seems a bit loose. Does the whole turn before engaging.

Nice thumb design, easy to install and useful number of keys. Well made. It comes with a very long screw that will probably need cutting down if your lock is as close to the door edge as mine was.
