Did the job as expected. If tank in loft and tight place then will not be able to secure as well, but enough to just cover as much as possible

Works well, easy to fit. Strings are plenty long enough.
I fitted this to an externally fitted hot water tank with no issues, before boxing in the tank.

Easy buying process. Cylinder jacket kit was of good quality. People may mistake bottom "rips" for moisture vents.
Gteat cylinder jacket. A little bit fiddly to fit because of lack of space in airing cupboard but paying for itself already as water is staying alot hotter and for longer
Cheap solution to a minor problem.
Both cheaply made and cheaply implemented.
The brass rivets provided to secure the jackets around the top of the cylinder pop out during fitting and the ties provided with which to effect this couldnt be cheaper if they tried!
Regardless of this, they do of course provide an amount of insulation and therefore increase the efficency of the hot water cylinder to which they are applied.
Does exactly as described. Bit of a struggle to wrap it around the tank, but then it's never easy working in a small space.
The HW jacket supplied was a 4-panel and not a 5-panel as advertised. Whilst it fitted the tank (42 x 18") having a lesser number of panels created a few issues on fitting the item around the various pipework connections. Also the 'bit of string' to tie the sections together over the tank dome was far too short and was useless
Ordering online and pickup was good as always. However I was surprised to find on unpacking that it was not as described. It was a four panel pack not a five panel pack. 😕
This hot water cylinder Jacket is an excellent buy.
It comes in four sections and can be a bit fiddly to fit round pipes but otherwise it is easy to put on and it fits the hot water cylinder really snugly.
It comes supplied with 2 thin tape ties but to make it easier I used ribbon and small plastic belt buckles which can be adjusted and then secured more easily than the ties supplied.
Water remains hot and the heat doesn't escape, highly recommend
4 panels so wrong description. Am sure it will do the job.
Used to insulate batteries outside my house, perfect size and easy to attach
Jacket is great but there were no securing straps, of any description, included so as a temporary fix I have used the old straps and some of the WiFi’s gardening string.
Gave this a 1 star rating, only because there are only 4 panels in the pack instead of 5 as described. The product itself works fine
Best shop in town for range of products. Local car accessories shop closing end of year. Suggested to Toolstation staff to stock similar products to ensure town motorists can find what they want at Toolstation. Staff referring to Board Directors for consideration. Watch this space!
Apparently there is NO 5 panel jacket. Two wasted journeys to find this out. Size dimensions are the same but 4 panel only available.
Easy enough to install considering the the general awkwardness of the shape.
This is only a 4 panel set so description is a bit misleading, quality is a a bit so and so but it does the job if your cylinder is small enough, at least on panel more had been need for my 180l cylinder.
