Do not assume that a larger thread is 3/4", the one needed was slightly smaller diam. and a much finer thread ! Luckily found suitable 1/2" to ?? on an older tap. The included washer attatchment screw needs to be at least1mm longer to aid engagement with the extender thread.
Excellent piece of kit with the corrector 3/4" brass plunger for the washer and not a 1/2" piece.
No instructions. Only bought as a cheap reducer so didn’t use the inserts

Excellent adaptor kit where I needed a coarser thread outer ring. Worked perfectly with some PTFE tape as usual for coarse thread fittings.

Purchased to make a tap reviver obtained from a close rival store actually usable.
I have 3/4” bath taps that needed refreshing so had already replaced the basin taps with a swirl product and thought I’d match up the bath - this kit is the same as the basin one with an adapter allegedly to fit a 3/4” tap (labelled 3/4”) which are in reality 22mm making the product useless.
Was really pleased to find these - and as you are often located next to the rival- was the same distance to give these a try as return the others.
And best of all the taps still match.
With a bit of kerferkaling used these to convert hose union bib cock to 1/4 turn.
This kit is well made and priced, but be prepared to use in a mix and match scenario with other branded tap kits to get a good working solution. This kit proved to be essential to make reviver taps fit my mixer tap body and worked a treat .... Just a shame the Toolstation reviver taps were NOT compatible and had to be returned in favour of equivalent from the "competition" !!
Thread size is coarser than those on my taps even though they are 3/4 inch.
Great kit the adaptor ring has a 3/4''BSP outer thread so fitted my old bath taps.
However, your 1/2'' BSP valves must have the rubber washer secured by a screw or the extension bits cannot be fitted.
Used when fitting 1/2 inch replacement tap bodies into 3/4 inch taps, eg bath taps
first time a product just didn't do the job!
