DeWalt Offers Two Free Bare Tools with Selected Battery Kit Buys

DeWalt Launches Free Bare Tool Bundle Deal

DeWalt has introduced a new promotional bundle targeting tradespeople looking to expand their cordless kit without paying full price for individual bodies. Under the scheme, buyers who purchase a qualifying DeWalt battery and charger starter pack can select two additional bare tools from a designated range at no extra charge.

The deal focuses primarily on the manufacturer's core 18V XR cordless platform. While specific qualifying kit part numbers and tool options vary by participating merchant, the promotion typically includes high-demand jobsite essentials such as combi drills, impact drivers, angle grinders, circular saws, and bare multi-tools.

Platform Expansion and Savings

For contractors already committed to the DeWalt 18V XR battery system, bundle promotions of this nature significantly reduce the unit cost of secondary site tools. Purchasing high-draw bare tools alongside additional high-capacity batteries allows operators to maintain continuous workflow without facing the standard retail price of individual units.

Tradespeople should verify whether participating UK stockists—such as Screwfix, Toolstation, or independent buying groups—are fulfilling the extra tools directly at the point of sale or requiring redemption through an online manufacturer portal. Redemption offers frequently feature strict claim windows and require valid proof of purchase from authorized UK dealers.

What This Means for UK Buyers

What does this mean for a UK tradesperson or DIYer actually buying this kit — does it change what they should pay, buy, or watch out for?

For UK buyers, this promotion substantially shifts the value calculation when upgrading or replacing worn-out gear. If you already require replacement 18V XR batteries and a charger, buying them through this promotional bundle effectively drops the individual price of the two bonus bare tools to zero. However, tradespeople should calculate the baseline cost of the qualifying battery kit across merchants to ensure the starter pack price has not been artificially inflated to offset the free items. It is also critical to confirm that the offered bare tool models match your required specification, as promotional bundles sometimes clear older generation brushed models rather than the latest brushless equivalents.
