Tower bolt used for securing gate to stop it blowing about in the wind. Not sure what else you would use it for. Not the strongest of manufacture but works well for my use.

Celebrated by the eponymous Sir Adrian, this product leaves Usain immobile on the starting blocks! Other metals cower under the Periodic Table as this modest little Zn number performs; how Gustave Eiffel held his creation to the ground without this paragon leaves my children gasping in incredulous awe! [We plan also to visit Blackpool but probably not until back end]. This is, without doubt, the most comprehensive bolting experience I have ever had.

Excellent product strong sturdy does the job a treat.
Metal is very soft and easily bent by hand. There's a bulge in the back plate so difficult to get it to sit flat and it affects the operation of the bolt. No back plate on the keep so bolt damages the timber gate. The throw isn't particularly long for a bolt this size so I would probably go for a smaller and higher quality bolt next time.
this item was not my first choice to purchase as the ones I wanted was out of stock, but the shop assistant was extremley efficent in recomending an alternative, thus closing the sale and saving me time and effort locating alternatives. very well done.
