Best marine varnish I've ever used (in over 55 years of boat-building and maintenance). Very easy to apply, with great run-free viscosity, plus super-clear high gloss allowing good coverage of raised grain to achieve a very smooth finish.

Its ok. Does what it says on the tin. Got to give it at least a week or 2 before it gets anywhere near water
Easy to apply. Quite cold in my garage at the moment 10*c, i was able to re-coat the following day, drying time was excellent. Great clear gloss finish
I went for this product because water based varnishes do not work anymore, they are too weak and one does not get a decent finish, because all the produces that you need for a decent finish have been removed which defeats the object of why One uses varnish, so now I only use yacht varnish and will never use water based product again. With this product I get a glossy hardwearing finish.
Very gloppy and very glossy finish - Coverage was excellent & would advise 2 coats for full effect.
I think that this is good yacht varnish. Better than others that I have used and better value. I have quite a lot of varnishing to do on my yacht so I shall probably buy some more. I am aiming on doing 4 coats with the first being 50:50 with white spirit (spaced one day apart in UK outside dry conditions)
Applies easily, slight honey hue so easy to see where it has been applied. Dries quickly. Can't comment on wear as only applied last week.
The best outdoor varnish that is hard wearing, and gives a good finish.
Good stuff; applied to bare douglas fir window frames
Used most of tin coating a new fence/gate. Looks good and repels rain. Too early to know how it will last after a few years of UV and storms, but I have no reason to worry beyond climate change and more UV.
Seems ok did 3 coats see how lasts when 8 put gate on next week I made not a yatch lol
There are so many water based vanishes that are useless in bathrooms.
Easy to apply, it is not clear but a rich colour on plywood. Used 3 coats, wish I had bought the bigger tin.
The counter staff are good, I was served in good time. The varnish was also decent. Just the right consistency.
What I did like was on the order paper - they ask you for your name and email. I'm not paranoid but when they start asking for your details at the counter, you don't know who is taking note !.

A really good varnish. Easy to apply. Brushes on quickly and self levels well. Gives an excellent high gloss finish. As mentioned it has a fairly dark amber colour similar to honey.
Good quality varnish that is nice and thick + dries to lovely shine. Also, reasonable price + will be repeat buy.
