Xpelair DX100 100mm Simply Silent Extractor Fan Timer

Low noise level. Appearance ok. Easy to fit. Priced reasonably compared to others on market. Not given 5 stars as ive only had it 24 hours so yet to judge performance. So far so good.

Great extraction fan. Very quiet and easy to install thus the grade.

Old one packed up after 5 years, which I feel is a good innings. New one fitted, very quiet and efficient operation. Let's see how long this one lasts

Now approx 2 months in use and its doing a good job. The fan is silent so I have moved the switch for some more decibels, to know it is ON, should it run for well over 15 minutes timer I can the manually switch off. Good little fan, looks nice too wish the inside grill was in black to match my bathroom. Will spray it black in summer.

Old one had fallen apart internally, this comes with a good kit to install, only issue was wiring on wrong side. Simple fix install upside down soŕt it when i am replacing the bathroom later in year.

I fitted one of these in my en-suite shower, and it worked very well until the timer stopped working, the fan still went round but switched off instantly. The replacement is fine; I like the quiet operation and the design is elegant, but I am a little unhappy that it stopped after only 8 years.

Great extract fan for price, good kit for through the wall and quiet operation and adjustable speed.

Good fan, does the job and is very quiet on the slow setting. As usual the extraction rate quoted is full power and the low dB quoted is for the low speed setting, but the noise on high speed isn't bad.
Nice and easy to fit and set up, and looks good, although do be aware that it may not cover the footprint of previous square fans.
I would have liked it to have an off setting on the lightswitch timer so it could be wired ready to be light switch controlled but set to only come on with the humidity, but that's a minor niggle.
Handy if you're wall fitting from new as it comes with the complete through wall kit, but I would have preferred to get it cheaper as I had no need for that kit, and I would expect the bulk of purchases to be for replacements or ceilings.

Quality brand unlike cheaper noisier ones which both failed after 3 years. Nice and quiet. Easy to fit, make sure you orientate to cover old spot as position of supply wires may be different.

As a DIY installation I found this extractor fan reasonable to install. Fan is quiet in operation. All parts for job were present but I did not need them as they were already there from previous installation. Instructions were understandable once model identified.

Quiet and efficient fan that really does the job!!

Catastrophy, had to wait for it 3 days, when arrived, fitted on to the wall, wired up, pull cord didnt do anything, checked why and the Way the Switch is fitted cant work because there is not enough room for it to actually switch on. Had to modify my self So it works. Unbeliveable bad quality.

Never ever buying this again

Excellent product, tenants are prone to turning off noisy extractors and then complaining of mould to the council so hopefully this will solve the issue

Easy to order, price is competitive to others on line, delivery is quick and on time, great all round.

It has no indicator light to show if the fan is on also due to quietness without the indicator never know Or stand inchies away from the extractor fan until u hear something turning. This company don't have with built in indicator. So no for me and I have return it.

I did not require the fan in the end as there was an online fan in my loft. But bringing product back to toolstation was effortless.

Good product, exactly as described, easy to fit, reasonably clear installation instruction. It's working well so far. Good value for money. I'd recommend it.
