Very good extract fan and very quiet when operating
Easy to prepare and fit, electrical connections no problem, the plastic wall sleeve duct is meant to be telescopic but mine was not.However I used the existing one and also the back grille which saved some time.The fan itself is fairly quiet and extracts well.

You can rest assured the Caledonian Tube Islington Manager, can find you a more appropriate alternative, with a timer, which would be more cost effective to run, for the tenants, to the cheaper, inferior product, I had originally ordered, that was out of stock. The lady even organised a refund of the original item, back onto my credit card, when the old stock arrived. I had turned up a day early, believing the item to be in stock and didn’t want to have to re-book my busy builder, for another day. It was amazingly quiet and apparently easy to fit!
Works well on low setting. Pretty quiet too. Couldn't get gasket to fit in existing outlet so fitted without it.

This replaced a ‘silent’ fan that was ...er...too silent. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem, but the old one had a sticky bearing and we couldn’t always tell if it was on or not. This new one has a bit of a whine to it. Anyway, the wife said it was her favourite ever (and believe me she’s not a woman usually given to comment on extractor fans). After a simple install we found that it left the en suite mirror virtually condensation free after a hot shower. One thing to watch for though - when I was unpacking the fan the tiniest wee widget ( 3 mm or so) fell out on to my lap. Thankfully I spotted it. I almost disregarded it until I realised it was the part which you need to change from slow to fast on the extractor settings. Also surprised how much muck was lining the 4 inch pipe going through the roof void to the great outdoors. Got my arm in as much as I could and cleaned what I could reach. Expect it’s only damp dust collecting in there, but didn’t want it falling in to the motor. Toolstation, as ever, have a great service and always my first port of call.
