These traps are great and very reliable. Very easy to seal and release and ive never had a problem with one of these.
As abysmal as many others have already said, poor seal for water and even sorse seal for air, bathroom was reminisant to a sewer witj a stench eminating from this poor quality product. It was regurns rwo days after a misguided purchase.

Utterly useless leaked straight away round the top and the air vent but had water coming out of it aswell , made of weak cheap plastic will be returning it for something for for purpose

We usually use the Mc Alpine P or bottle Traps, however there are quite a few basin wastes that are so thin that the Mc Alpine traps do not seal to them properly and leak so we have found these Wirquin Bottle traps work perfectly in those circumstances because the washer is wide enough to create a good seal even on those really thin wastes
bought this trap to replace one letting a smell into my vanity unit
put the trap on very easy to fit but thought it was a bit wobbly
filled sink up and let water go to test
the water immediately began to pour out of the slots at the top of the trap into the vanity unit
took it off and cleaned the old one and put that one back on
absolute rubbish it’s in the garage waste of money
This trap is so easy to install and the quarter turn waste pipe is much better with the bonus of adjusting the hight of the trap.

Didn't leak and very quite, but thread at the bottom part doesn't inspire confidence and comes off very easily. Locking nut/seal at the back were waste pipe connects doesn't lock all the way as marked
I prefer this bottle trap to McAlpine’s, it is telescopic, has a built in anti-siphon valve and is about half the price of the McAlpine
This is a perfect trap for that small area to fit into. It’s quick, simple and strong. It’s telescopic which really helps when trying to connect to the waste pipe. It’s not the first time I have used this product I have used it time over time and it’s never let me down
Fits and seals well, i like the retained seal system. really good trap
The pipe seal split down the seam. Now another trip back for a replacement. So this has cost me about £10 extra in fuel. I will hopefully swap for a basic trap.
