Was good for the application.. well made and eady to fit.
The pin is higher than the sprung latch restrictor which is ludicrous considering that there's very little space in the window frame grooves. Makes it snag on certain frames, especially older frames or aluminium frames.

Bought to restrict opening of front window, having bought a right-handed one previously for the adjacent window.
Does a very good job but you do need to work it all out for yourself the first time you use one. Is also supplied without screws so you'll need to supply these yourself. With fixings and a very basic instruction sheet (or link to one online), this would be 5 stars.
Didn't come with screws which wasn't a major concern no instructions for price would of been good to have something took a bit of time to work out and fit but worked well.

I thought that this would work for a window that kept blowing wide open in the wind...but sadly it didn't allow the window to open enough where I could fit it. Toolstation were excellent and allowed me to return the product despite the fact that I had opened the pack to check whether it would work for me

There’s nothing wrong with the catch but although simple to fit there are no fitting instructions which would have been handy.
Fitted OK to the slot in the window moulding. Have to supply your own screws. Design is not quite as shown in the picture - the ‘hook’ is wider and more rounded. Seems to do the job.
Ideal to leave windows open but could be a touch longer.
