This dimmer switch is half the price of some so-called "smart" dimmers but performs better as, with my LED lighting, was completely silent, no buzz at all, compared with a BG Nexus Metal Antique Brass 200W Intelligent LED Dimmer Switch 2 Gang 2 Way and BG Screwless Flat Plate Brushed Stainless Steel 13A DP Switched Socket 2 Gang which I had just purchased and were supposed to be compatible with LEDs and supposed not to buzz.
I wasted £30+ on an MK dimmer that didn't work.
Just fitted this one that cost about half that and it works!
Got 6 led downlights and previous dimmer switch was very annoying with buzzing and flickering. Just installed this dimmer and it's silent. It's probably not the best looking, colour is off white but buzzing is gone completely.
Works as intended. Instructions good. Adjustable for minimum brightness. Silent. Well made. Looks nice. However, this dimmer does not bring the lights on immediately when switched on, there is a momentary delay.
Watch the depth of your back box,you need more than a 15mm depth box. Otherwise a good quality product that has no problems with LEDs.
It was easy to fit and it works well. I recommend this dimmer.

Slight lag when switching on - but does what it says on the tin
The switch overheated instantly and blew up tripping the electric
The switch does eliminate flickering but when turning it on, it appears that the lights don't work. You have to turn the switch clockwise and anticlockwise to get the lights to come on.
Good price nice switch don't forget to get the 25mm back box with it to make sure it fits in
Very good,easy to fit just follow all instructions that come with switch, especially the part about removing top and bottom surplus metal lugs on pattress box,as they foul the switch assembly.

Not great needs a really deep back box or doesn’t work due to the dimmer module hit the back of the lattes
