The ladder needs to much room to open up,as loft hatches are mainly on landings they do not work.
I’m not too bad at a bit of general DIY. This was easy to fit. It pulls down easily enough and goes back up just as easy. I haven’t put the hand rail on it as I was worried it would make it difficult to fit larger things like suitcases through the hatch.
I haven’t really used it much but would recommend it.
Not sure what I think of it value for money - it was cheaper than the 3 section one !!
Very satisfied with this basic loft ladder, easy to fit and works well. It included a loft hatch conversion kit and a handrail.

Loft ladder, great for the price, nice and sturdy,
Easy to install (although a 2-person job for a couple of steps). Fits a relatively small hatch opening. Very lightweight and easy to handle once installed. A little more flexible than some people will be comfortable with, but much more robust than it looks at a glance.
Easy to fit with a bit of Diy know How and should give you years of service if operated with a bit of thought !
