I have used this a few times now and so far its been great. It starts easily, works great on tall/thick grass and creates a good finish. In theory, with an aluminium deck and a Briggs and Stratton engine this should be a winner and it is looking that way so far. Whilst well built, it is incredibly simple with a manual height adjustment, automatic choke, one handle engages the rear axle and the other keeps the engine running. It is very easy to use and has little to go wrong.
I would caution that this is a heavy mower, but that is to be expected from something with a 21" deck, especially on a well built mower. My only other criticism is of the instruction manual that appears to relate to an earlier incarnation of this model that had a manual choke, its therefore only partially applicable to this mower.
A bit more difficult to start than our previous lawnmower, but once we got it going, it was excellent! Good cutting blade and moves with precision. Quick delivery and easy online ordering.
After first use wouldn't start. Now I have the chew of going through warranty. Not what you needed. Also box it arrived in battered. Would I use mailorder through toolstation again no. On a lighter note a useless lawn mower was delivered next day.
