great stuff in stock and great service from the staff
We used this to insulate two bedrooms where mould was a problem and it felt like it had warmed them up straight away. It is a really quality product and feels like it has been designed to do the job perfectly. It was a great system with a really strong paste. It is thick and you need sharp scissors to cut it. It is easy to hang and the glue doesn’t go off quickly so you can adjust the paper if you need to. It gives a very nice finish and looks lime plaster in an old house. We were delighted as it was the perfect solution for the problem, very nice to use and gives a professional looking finish.
Used on external walls ( on the inside of course! ) to warm up walls of Victorian solid wall house. Use correct glue and it’s easy. Need decent scissors though. No plastic in it either.
The wall felt a lot warmer after application. The corners were tricky. I have put one coat of the finished paint on that I will check when it is dry. So far it looks really good. Delivery was next working day which worked fine for me. Staff in store were very friendly.
I used this in my house as one of the bedrooms was very cold due to the external wall and this has helped warm the room up makesure you put plenty of the adhesive on the wall and wipe it down before it dries
Very effective at cutting out the mould we had in the window reveals. You need plenty of the adhesive and I found it best to coat the wall and the liner before fixing. Trimming can be a pain in the buttocks, so best done with a scalpel or old fashioned razor blade.
Nice product to work with, but plenty of paste is required.
Don’t know how effective it is yet but after getting tips from YouTubers, it went up fine, managed to bend into wi dis recesses without cutting- so after caulking edges have painted directly onto it and it looks good.
Really thick and warm to the touch. Not easy to hang as it's hard to move once it's on the wall so it took me a while to get it right.
Used in a bathroom and separate toilet, both with solid external walls. I used a double layer and it has much reduced the condensation I used to get in the bathroom, plus both rooms feel a little less cold and noisy (yes, just takes the edge off any echo etc.).
Easy to use and gives a great result. Good for covering minor imperfections and definitely makes a difference to the warmth of the room. The fact you can paint it directly is a bonus.
Good product, easy to hang. The Toolstation app though is awful needs constant uninstalling and reinstalling for it to work
Easy to apply with the heavy duty adhesive, just follow instructions and you won't go wrong. The room definitely feels warmer, I wished I'd done it years ago.
I recently used the Wallrock Thermal Liner (10m x 75cm), and it exceeded my expectations. It’s easy to apply and provides a noticeable improvement in room warmth, making it perfect for tackling cold walls. The material is high-quality, durable, and thick, yet flexible enough to handle tricky corners and uneven surfaces.
I was particularly impressed with how it reduced condensation and created a smooth, paint-ready surface. The adhesive recommendation worked perfectly, and the result was professional-looking. It’s a game-changer for anyone looking to insulate their walls efficiently while improving aesthetics.
Highly recommended—this is a fantastic investment for home improvement projects!
Easy to apply on straight walks, but not easy on curves around window frames. However, it’s done a really good job, of keeping our property both damp free and warm.
Brilliant product which hides flaws in the underlying plaster as well as insulating and making the room much warmer
Definitely helps to warm a room quicker and help hold the heat longer. I used it on solid walls in a Victorian end of terrace and while it wasn't the easiest paper to hang and trim, the customer has fed back nothing but positivity. Make sure you use the correct adhesive and prime the walls with gardz before hanging. This will allow you a bit more slippage when trying to but up the edges. If lining over the top, use a non-woven lining paper and hang perpendicular to how you put up the wallrock.
Great product that controls the 'cold strike' inside external facing walls. Used it in several locations with good results. The only issue I found was learning how to hang it......it takes some practice, particularly in fiddly corners.
Hangs pretty easily. Sticks well and the wall is now less cold. Done as a DIY’er and would happily do again in another room without any trepidation.
Used this to line a cold wall in a loo extension which has been suffering from condensation and mildew. Too early to say if it stops the mildew but I found it much easier to apply than some of the reviews. It is pretty tough and difficult to trim once it's applied to a pasted wall but by careful measuring and trying each piece up for fit first and then pasting it went on a treat. Some small gaps but these are easy to fill with fine filler before painting. I found it easy to cut precisely using a £3.99 pair of Gripi scissors from Aldi. It has produced a finish like a newly plastered wall warm to the touch.
