A good value hose reel that comes with all the fittings, including PTFE tape. The instructions are a bit of a mess, but it’s a pretty simple thing to put together as it comes largely assembled. It carries our 50m hose comfortably, so it could probably hold 60m plus. Pleased with this item.
Mostly ok but plastic hose connectors are brittle. Also tends to link the hose for the first few turns which means it’ll have to be fully unwound for water to flow properly.
Wall mounted hose reel, works well, so much less faffing than without it, tried lightweight extendable hoses, but kept leaking.
Apart from the very poor anchor bolts (which you are better off using some Rawbolts) I would really recomend this Reel. Comes with hoselock type hose adaptors, PTFE tape and simple instuctions. Can't go wrong. this will last much longer than the Plastic Hoselock stuff which gets hammered by the sun and frequently breaks in my experence.
About what I would expect for c£45 - reasonably sturdy, certainly functional and in powder coated finish. The handle screw thread stripped with little torque but was replaceable.
Good wheel. Don’t waste your time using the screws supplied. Go and get 10mm decent length strong bolts and secure the wheel securely to the wall. The wheel is decent, and wraps fine so long as you assist the hose onto the wheel. Overall happy now that I have used decent fixings 8/10 overall

Simple design needs anti kink for hose. Had to make one from a previous hose reel
The hose reel is good value for money and performs well. Two things of note 1) the bolts supplied to fix to wall are rubbish so buy some decent ones from TS 10mm x 50mm. 2) the connection for the hose pipe is on the centre outside of the reel which tends to cuse crimping of the hose when wound in. Small points for the price of a sturdy metal reel.
Well made hose reel which came with all connections and screws to mount unit on wall and connect hose.
Works well and does what it promises. Supplied fixings / wall anchors are not good quality. Ended up having to use 8mm rawlplugs instead
Strong and classy bit of kit. Wall mounted is so so much better than the cheapest plastic floor spools.
Bought one of these 7 years ago and although still working getting a little tired. New one is improved and wider than the old one.
Takes a 50 metre hose with room to spare. I use with the swing arm fixed to the wall using cable ties. Strong & effective but this is the second one I have had in five years due to severe rusting & paint peel. Does not affect its use but very unsightly against the house wall. With this one I have siliconed the gaps around the spokes & taped-off the drain holes in the wheel rims. Coated the remainder with Wax Oil & greased profusely all moving elements. Fingers crossed it works.
Works OK but is quickly rusting away from inside. I don't think this is going to last long
Easy to assembly and mount. Strong, not like it's flimsy, plastic counterpart.
Bought this to replace a standard hose reel, stuck it to a wooden post so it moves freely. It works really well and I will definitely take it with me if I move.
Good reel, with a few mods to improve durability:
Used 70mm coach bolts + rawl plugs to mount to wall;
Put a rubber gasket behind the wall mount;
pulled an old buggy inner tube over the swing arm to prevent it/rust marking the wall.
Used PTFE tape (supplied) on all hose fittings. No leaks.
Pictured with ~20m hose, could hold more.
More durable than plastic reels... provided I disconnect it before the frost ;)
