Perfect heat gun for stripping paint off timber.
Adjustable heat settings work well.Highly recommend this tool.
Quality heat gun supplied in case with various attachments. Fine control of heat in 10 degree increments and the ability to easily replace power cable if you happen to melt it. One slight niggle is the cold down feature which once activated you can't go instantly go back to hight heat, so you need to bypass the cold down feature. Would be better if on cool down it could immediately go back to heat by pressing '+'.
Excellent piece of kit . Variable heat settings , easy to use!
Excellent heat gun
Has several heat and fan settings so you can get exactly the temperature you require
Can be stood on end to allow working over it hands free if heat shrinking etc
A great heat gun, does everything i can ever think of needing to do!
Works well, only slight annoyance is that it doesn't have a trigger so it stays on heating until you switch off wich sends it into cool down mode. if you want to get heat before cool down mode ends you have to overide it and switch it off then immediately turn it back on. I was using it to shrink sleeving.
Great heat gun with temperature and fan control. Supplied with a case which allows you to secure the gun in an upright position so you can bring the work to it.
Cool down function is very useful meaning it can all be packed away again quickly after use without worrying about damaging the case.
Bought the Wagner gun as I was spending too much time with an 18V Milwaukee Heat Gun. Very light, lots of heat settings and easy cool down function too. At 630c max setting, paint had no chance. It peeled away like a banana. Excellent buy.
Great product can't fault it easy control of temperature and fan speed, cool down mode is a a useful touch especially for quick storage no waiting for nozzle to cool down enough before packing away also useful for blowing dust off items before wiping down prior to painting.
Built in stand on case helpful as is the ability to stand heat gun up on its end when not in use as prevents accidentally burning of flooring. All in all I'm really impressed with this product.
A first class tool. very versatile and easy to use
Easy to use, heats up quickly and is lightweight. Quick cool down makes it as safe as possible
Good feel, low to high heat, heat gun
Design is well thought out, eg back-prop feature, easy display / buttons to control settings, auto-cooling at switch off (hold down power button to override), conical front end good for access, bright yellow stands out (red ringed nozzle might be even better as warning), good case & perpherals.
I bought this to strip old skirting boards with about 5 layers of old paint. It did the job well. I liked the heat control option - easy to use and helps avoid scorching. The off switch puts it into the cooling fan safety option, so I kept having to switch off at the mains to silence it, but that is a good idea from a safety point of view. Next time I use it will probably be to de-frost the freezer...
Bought this a week ago after looking for a heat gun at a well known store they said don't get one go for another make but reading the reviews of this gun I bought it this gun is certainly the best on the market digital display and plenty of settings to choose from and it comes with different nozzles and a scraper I wouldn't use any other one after using this
Urgently required to assist with circuit board diagnostics under elevated temperature, the order turned up next day very promptly and was perfect for the task.
I bought new a heat gun Wagner 750 and I work to remove to paint the windows of the flat by heat gun is comfortable
This has to be the Ultimate heat gun on the market in this price range, it performed very well, I used to fit two car radios and used the Solder shrink wrap connects that required a good heat to melt the solder, very please. G
I was amazed how well it worked. Made the job of stripping old paint from wood work a breeze
Admittedly I have only had this heat gun for 2 weeks, however it has been used extensively since then. I have used it to strip paint and top Creme brulee (for the wife), it has handled both jobs well. The temperature control is easy to use, the attachments do everything you would want of them, the cool down feature that wasn't present on my previous gun should prolong the life span of the machine. It's of a good weight and well balanced.
