I cant say too much about the wagner furno 300 as it caught fire and stopped working when i started to use it. I was using it to remove paint from a skirting board, after about 2 minutes it started to spark and caught on fire. I am hoping this is just a faulty unit that i have and not a wider issue withis product. I have emailed Toolstation to request a replacement but i have not received a reply yet (I emailed 1 day ago).
For the 6 inches of skirting board I manged to remove the paint from, before the unit broke, it seemed to be an ideal tool for the job.
Basic gun but does what I wanted.
However there is no stand which was included with my previous gun that mysteriously disappeared!
Just the job for stripping layers of gloos paint. Comfortable to hold, good build quality
Removed paint with ease, when used with a combination shave hook
Very good value. Does what is expected for a heat gun. Used it extensively with no problems. Dropped it on a few occasions, no breakage.
It's so neat and simple I've ended up using it more often
Have had this heat gun for a few month's. Its still going ok will see how long it lasts me as i go through a lot of heat guns.
Great little tool it’s it’s all you need for a good job
Used 3 times perfect for the job
Good price, and a good heat gun.
Well priced and well made heat gun
Works a treat does what he should do
Really nifty little heat gun that made removing the old paint on my staircase quick and easy. Just point the gun towards the paint and scrape it off with a scraper. I was very impressed with how well it worked and how easy to operate. I did slightly scorch the wood in a couple of places when I held it for too long in one place. User error, but something to be careful of.
Excellent size and power for the job i was doing.
Good value for money product
Best item I have bought in a long time. Bargain purchase for a really heavy paint stripping job on a staircase. Really works well. We also bought a small set of attachments which is helping with some intricate parts of the job. Highly recommended.
Only lasted 20mins of work so had to return it for a replacement. Not used this one yet so we'll have to see if this one lasts any longer ???
Really good gun with variable heat control. Had an old B&D gun, this one beats it hands down! Strip paint and varnish with ease - forget that chemical paint stripper!! :)
