Bought to connect a model specific electrical connector to the wiring loom of a motorcycle owing to damage to the original conector. Job had to be completed 'in situ' with difficult access and I was prepared to pay the cost for this one job alone. The heat gun was very managable and the repair was successful. Has subsequently been used for other jobs and is a useful addition to the tool shelf at a very reasonable price.
It's easy enough to setup, the standing position is quite comfortable so you can work on pieces you are trying to shrink or melt with both hands
It's also light and small. And I haven't smelled any burnt plastic that people usually complain about cheaper guns. Nice to mold pvc plastic as well.
