I used this to replace a traditional toilet cistern ball valve. The threaded inlet connection was the same length as the traditional valve, which made attaching to the rigid inlet pipework straightforward. The performance of this valve relative to the old one is far superior - much faster and quieter to fill. The 5 second delay in filling reduces water waste as the flush syphon is still operating.

I used this to replace a faulty fill valve in an Ideal Standard flush cistern. It was easy to fit, if you have a 22mm basin spanner. It is fully adjustable with easy to follow instructions.
