I'm not a tiler, but a wee bit of practice and you get there. Sounds daft but just nibble the tile and you will master it. I didn't waste a tile when using them.

Does the job. I'm an inexperienced tiler, but found these worked very well although required patience and working slowly and carefully.
Just the tool for the job(s) – the Tile Nipper – once its capabilities are mastered – is an excellent tool which makes shaping the tiles ever so easy. I did practice a bit first on a few old broken tiles bits and I am glad I did ... after that it was a pure joy of an experience which I wish I let myself into a long time (and many broken tiles) before.

Great for trimming an existing tiled hole to fit new toilet where it didn't quite line up. Saved re-tiling. Good quality tool.
Cheap and does the job just fine. Was looking for something to just nibble the end of the tiles and this tool does just that.

I am a tiling newbie and found this to be awesome for cutting shapes so long as you 'nip' at it else it can shatter the tile like on my first attempt. I also bought a tile saw but it was rubbish compared to this.
