Bought this as the square notched trowel that I wanted was not available until the next day. Just my preference but I prefer working with a square notch than a round notch particularly on laying a heavy bed of tile adhesive

Great Trowel,used with 600x600mm Floor Tiles.
Left a nice Bed of Adhesive and I used the Flat side of the Trowel to Butter the Backs of the Tiles.
Big wide notches, seemed to work a treat, the curved notches probably allow channels to close better- no bubbles, no troubles (I hope)
I fished faster with this tool my tiled floor. I would recommend this one for all DIYers
