Vent-Axia 100mm Silent Extractor Fan Timer

Seems to be well made and runs quietly even on the higher speed. Need to be careful of the back draft flaps when unboxing as they seem quite fragile and exposed. The cable entry is very specific so you need to be able to bring supply out in the right place.

Nice quiet operation, quality product, easy to fit

I needed a fan to replace one that was 20+ years old and had to push air from bathroom/shower along some 5m of duct. Opening in the shower wall is just over 100mm so no chance of fitting anything large. I bought this one as it has two speeds, hoping that using the higher speed will have enough oomph to do the job. So far so good.

Decent enough extractor. Not as cheap as others but is excellent quality. Replaced a previous similar 8 year old Vent-Axia and was a straight swap. When they say "silent" they mean quiet. It still makes a noise, just not as loud as some cheaper brands. Timer adjustment is very sensitive as tiny changes to the pot makes a big difference, but was able to set a twoish minute delay after bathroom light is turned off. Happy with the purchase.

This is a well made extractor fan.
This particular model has 2 fan speeds. Speed 1 is the default with good extraction rate and is not too noisy (but definately noticable). Speed 2 is the slow speed which is very quiet, near silent, but the extraction rate is much less. I use the fan on its faster speed.

very expensive compared to others, quiet but not silent, extraction rate ok but not great. perhaps should have bought a cheaper one

Excellent fan & easy to install. It's soo quiet you can hardly hear it! Great quality for the cost. Would recommend specially for small bathrooms/toilet rooms.

Looks good and it is silent. Make sure you get the right one - some have a double live connection.

Like for like replacement hope it last longer than the last one. Easy to install being exactly the same but the internal casing was a snap on fitting rather than the screw fitting of the original and the snap on was not very effective at holding on one side. Struggled to get it to hold.

Bought 2 of these fans, super easy to install. They are much quieter and efficient than the old fans that they have replaced. Went for this trusted brand and spent a little more money, but have definitely not regretted it. Adjusting the timer and speed was also a breeze. Would definitely recommend.

Surpassed expectations, neat modern fitting, so silent hard to know if it's working - but it is & does the job very well.

Extremely quiet running fan, don’t realise it’s on. Easy to install with adequate space to fit and fix and wire in without the terminal block falling out or flimsy. Be gentle with the cover plate as it slides on and off, and not pulled off. The only issue I have is the cover plate clips can break. But all in all a good strong and quiet fan. The humidistat version is ideal for very light bathrooms where clients don’t always turn on the lights, or the room has a lack of ventilation.

Only just installed (by an electrician as I never managed to get the timer to work when I did it myself with the previous one, which died recently), it seems good, but it's not as quiet as I was expecting (although definitely quieter than usual fans).

Very reliable product. Easy to install. All holes lined up with the same one that packed up 8 year ago.
