The sliding body clamps offer a large, anti-slipcontact surface of1000mm capacitywith a throat depth of 90mm, spreading the force over a wider area and reducing the crushing of fibres. The C45 hardened steel rail, measuring 29mm x 9mm, prevents the clamp from bending or flexing under intense pressure, and includes durable supports to either stand the clamp unaided or to support the clamped material, preventing contact with the steel bar. The steel clamp rail features deep channels for the clamping mechanism to lock into, ensuring the jaw does not slip or loosen, and by pushing on the clamp screw handle, releases the catch allowing the jaw to slide freely along the rail for quick set ups.
