I used the Universal Roddable Gully Riser because of the difference level between new and old and this allowed to have a clean finish, at the right level and in minimum cost. Highly recommend.
Well, my use for this is probably unique. It has been used to refurbish part of a fish pond filter system. It is extremely well made, was exactly the size and length I needed and I have confidence it will outlast me and my pond. For it's intended use, I feel sure it will not disappoint in any way as the head has re-reinforcement which should ensure it remains stable.

An easy way to lift the finished height of the gulley, lift the square top off the gulley, cut the riser to length and insert into the gulley then re-fit the square top to the top of the riser. The difference between this and the round top one (84588) is that this one has no internal ledge, so the gulley top fits into the riser by about 40mm, where as the round one (84588) has an internal ledge for the round grate to sit on, which is about 20mm from the top, so although either will fit the gulley, if you use a square riser (63568) with a round gulley, the round grate top will sit too low in the riser and if you use a round riser (84588) with a square gulley the square grate top will not sit deep enough into the riser and water will likely leak from the joint

it is 345mm in length, not 400mm as in description, otherwise it is fine.
Just what I needed to raise a gully. Insert inside the gully can still be removed as well.
Simple enough to take the bottle gully up to the right height, just measure, cut and drop in. This was used for the "Universal Roddable Gully 110mm Square" I have used them in a couple of places to get my gully grates to the height I wanted in minutes. I dont see that they can be used for anything other than risers
Does exactly what it should
Happy with the product although it's badly described. It is a 1600mm Gully riser and not 1100mm. It does have a tapered edge at 1600mm and the other end is not 1600mm, which goes out to 1700mm and no idea what it would fit into. Once cut it worked perfectly.

I fitted Toolstation (Aquaflow) universal roddable gullies a couple of years ago. I have now had the area paved that required the gully to be raised so bought this thinking I had nothing more todo than fit it. The original gully has a gully cover that had an outside diameter of 180mm therefore the outside diameter of the base of the riser needs to be 180mm, however it is only 160mm diameter so if fitted wouldn't allow the gully insert to be removed to allow the gully to be rodded.
