Have used these locks in past but the recently purchased ones were of better quality with a smoother operating mechanism.
Look good quality well made time will tell how good
Bought to replace a broken and rusty Euro Profile lock at work. The original lock was 60mm depth and installed in an exterior metal door so a little work was needed to get this to fit. Worth it in the end, the barrel was also replaced with one of our keyed alike barrels to match our existing key set.
A very good lock, I have used Union locks in the past and they are well built and secure.
Returned after I realised that the backing plate is plastic with only a thin metal face plate.

Installed into an existing wooden door from scratch to boost the security of the door. Looks great and works well once fitted. Advice for anyone purchasing is not to blindly trust the paper templates for locating the drill holes, as despite taping the templates exactly in place and drilling out exactly where specified, the keyhole holes and frame cutout didn't quite line up as they should. Measure twice, cut once!! :)
Solid build quality. I wish the black plastic piece was metal; would have been even more solid.
returned it to Toolstation who gave me a full refund. It looked like a good quality product.
