Substantial lock with a decent throw. It could do with at least one more key though.

Got this lock for a shed. Looks smart and has a keyhole cover included. Very smooth operation but only time will tell.

Bought to replace a similar Union lock in newly-acquired flat. Cleverly only the escutcheon and keys were branded, so presumably the same lock can be sold at different prices by different merchants under other of the many Assa Abloy brands. The only drawbacks were 1)Toolstation had some difficulty in finding out what the 64mm dimension referred to, whereas Union replied immediately, 2) the keyhole was not in quite the same place as its predecessor, necessitating time-consuming fiddling around, 3) giving more dimensions in the catalogue could be helpful and 4) it was only possible to buy from Toolstation with the standard 2 keys, even though Union would be able to provide more if ordered at same time as the lock. Ended up getting the 2 extras cut at local builder's merchant.
Very happy with it, but one flaw was a rouge oversized screw which I had to find a replacement. Other than that. Ok.
I bought this lock to replace a older version and it fits well with a little modification. Instructions clear.
