Good quality router table I am looking forward to using it when I get the new router
Being a total newbie to woodworking, I stumbled across this great Table after hours of research on line. Toolstation had the best deal by far.
Just need to be certain you buy a Router which matches it, otherwise you'll have lots holes!
Good, accurate table. The feather boards, and mitre fence are a bit basic. But, good for the pricr point. Table, stand, insert and fence are excellent.
Easy enough to set up. The table itself is very solidly built and in operation very steady. A trend router (T8 is what I used) fitted perfectly underneath. Everything about the table seems made of quality materials. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but well worth it
Bought this to hold the router while cutting grooves to make panels. Much safer than freehand or in a workmate even with a fence
Nothing wrong with Toolstation part of my purchase. Very quick delivery and best price on line. Delivery went fine and nothing damaged including the box. Trend itself doesn't get 5 stars though. The 2 metal brackets to install the NVR were supposed to be identical in size shape and holes drilled. The shape was the only thing correct, the holes were drilled in wrong place and only holes in one side tapped when it should have been both. Toolstation doesn't and does not have to keep spares. They quickly replied and I got in touch with Trend, no reply as yet. Meanwhile I have redialed the holes and because of not being able to tap I used nuts and bolts, job done.
Quality product for a really competitive price. I had been looking at the Trend WRT router table with the intention of buying it. Toolstation reduced the price by a genuine £100, so it was a no brainer to purchase it from them.
Due to personal commitments I haven’t got round to using the table yet but I’ve read reviews and watched YouTube videos appertaining to this router table and I think it will make a great addition to my workshop.
Took some time to put together as the instructions provided are rubbish, many reviews have said the same. The quality of the fence is questionable, however, make sure you make detailed notes on dimensions and they are easy to replace. Just wish there were other places to store the spacer bars as they interfere with the other accessories that use the top of the fence. Other than that it’s definately worth the money. Unfortunately needs another feather board which is definitely required.
Overall I’m please with the table. I’m a little concerned with the overall longevity of the work surface but only time will tell. What disappointed me was the build instructions which are dire. They need much more thought especially to identify the fasteners.
