Trend Pocket Hole Jig 3 in 1

My first use of pocket screws and holes, in the past I’ve taken a chance with driving in a screw at an angle (not always with good success). This was for attaching a sloping handrail to newel posts in the garden. I was pleased with the result and with a dod of glue on the face it’s made a strong joint. With the double jig I was able to separate off the parts so I could drill two holes closer than the jig allows, but with a wider workpiece the double unit will be great. Bit fiddley to drive in the screws but the included long reach bit helps. Slightly pricier than an online purchase but I prefer to deal with people, and the staff at my local Toolstation store are great.

Excellent product, used so many times and quality great.

The instructions are not super intuitive but otherwise really pleased at the price. It includes everything required for pre-drilling pocket holes, you just need a clamp, a drill and some wood. The selection of screws included is helpful too.

Unstable and difficult to use - this jig isn’t sold with the required clamp and is two individual jigs which slide around and are a pain to use. It’s very difficult to achieve accurate cuts and time wasting to have to clamp each one separately each time. The depth gauges aren’t strong enough to hold in place so they are pretty useless too.

Really cool tool for the DIYer. Reasonable quality and does the job. Needs a clamp in addition to what comes in the box.

Took a bit of working out to get the measurements right on the jig but once i figured it out it was easy to use and straight forward.

Bought to do cabinets in a camper van conversion. Good tool and does what it's supposed to well enough although I'd of preferred it to be made of metal instead of plastic.

Fine for occasional use. I was doing some panelling and had to make some joins on the back. Not sure how well it would hold out for daily use by a professional but was perfect for what I needed.

Great product, good quality and works exactly how it should. Make sure you buy a clamp to hold it into position!

Glad I purchased the pocket hole jig, building cabinets and furniture and fitting out using a lot of timber has been a lot easier and looks a lot better being able to hide the screws

Very good once you’ve worked out the instruction pictures!! Did a couple of test pieces first really strong joints, the amount of screws that come with the pack is hardly worth them being there!
All said would recommend it.
