Trend Dovetail Jig 300mm

The one I purchased from TS had a manufacturing fault and could not be assembled. I spent about 3 hours trying to put it together using the manual and videos online before realising that there is no way it will fit together. I contacted Trend and received a replacement next day - the replacement works really well.

Simple to set up and use, produces great dovetail joints.

One of the Best jigs out there easy to use a lot better than the generic Jigs. Have used the Trend a lot . Hade a leigh Jig some years ago Great Jigs but very costly .This jig does what i want it to do Box Joints. Dovetails ,if you want nice easy dovetails buy one!

Had to exchange the washers under the knobs, as they vibrated loose, apart from that, does a great job.

Good jig, well thought out, instructions not easy to follow but any decent chippy or DIYer should be able to sort after a bit of practice. Make sure you use scrap wood pieces to prevent break out on edges. Mine had 2 wing nuts missing disappointingly.

Great jig, pay attention to the instructions and practice on scrap pieces till you get the bit set at the right height for the width of the dovetails to line up properly
