When using with lock jig you may need to use an auger drill bit to deepen the mortise. Shank 14 Diameter 12mm Cut 19mm The Trend HJIGA 2 piece hinge jig is a portable template set designed for recessing hinges in wooden doors frames, the unique 2 piece design splits into two pieces for easy transportation. Easy to use with minimal setting-up helps complete the job both accurately quickly. The hinge jig is quick and simple to set up as the hinge is used as the pattern. Ideal for use on site or workshop increasing productivity with clean and accurate recesses achieved every time. Four apertures for fire door requirements. Suitable for timber based doors square butt hinges, it can be used on both inside outside doors. The HJIGA can be used with most routers with a 14 collet, although a Unibase may be required for some routers. A long reach cutter will be required TRE14TR12 or PRO14RC12 12mm diameter with 70mm overall length. Hinge sizes possible Length min 67mm, Length max 127mm. Width min 9.5mm, Width Max 35mm. The Trend LOCKJIG Lock Jig uses a set of interchangeable templates and, with a router, will cut the mortise as well as the face-plate recess for popular door locks. The Trend Lock Jig is suitable for most common sash mortise deadlocks, with up to 3 deep mortises, a 78 or 1 face-plate. Deeper mortises can be achieved with a suitable size auger bit. The jig ensures fast, clean and accurate results on doors 34mm to 58mm thick, even in hardwood. The Trend Lock Jig features CNC precision manufactured plates body for maximum accuracy and prolonged life. The Trend Lock Jig requires a plunge router fitted with a 30mm guide bush plus a 12mm long reach cutter TRE12TR37. Compatibility Must be used with a 30mm guide bush and a 12mm diameter cutter. For deep mortises a heavy duty router should be used.
