A great tool to have! There are cheaper alternatives available but the design of this bench top support is far superior and allows easy fine adjustment to ensure work is supported perfectly flat for drilling or cutting.
Great piece of kit, but best with two if doing skirting etc.
It works like a charm. Easy to adjust and the roller has a little side to side movement that makes it easy to position your piece of wood

I wanted to thickness some long timber and my existing stands did not go low enough for the thicknesser part of my planner/thicknesser. Putting these on power tool storage boxes allowed me the adjustment needed. I bought two and the mechanism on one is a bit stiff but otherwise I am reasonably impressed. Could also be useful on my work bench so they may prove versatile. I would buy again if I was making the decision from the start.
Wanted something like this for years when cutting wood, guttering, metal to support free end safely at the right height - excellent build quality, easy to adjust and compact to store - top marks !
Great wee tool. Smaller than I thought it would be - which is a good thing - it sits neatly on the bench and is a great help to support and level off the workpiece for cutting or drilling.
Quite sturdy, should get a lot of use out of this.
