Easy to set up with its own mesh network. Easy to control from the Tapo App and can easily be controlled by Alexa. Now have three and are being used with their own internal time control set up for external lights for security whilst the street lights are turned off at midnight. Excellent piece of kit

Light effective, but a little tricky to get set up on the app
I bought three of these for wall lights in the lounge. You have to program them individually to run them as disco lights and when switched off and back on they revert to the white light setting! It’s a pain. Also very fiddly to set them all to the same white setting and I have noticed if the power is interrupted they switch themselves on. Hopefully the software will be improved in the near future. I previously bought the smart plugs and they are a very good stable product.
Bulb is ok, great selection of colours. Would say it seems not as bright as the Philips Hue it replaced but the 3 bulbs I bought cost less than one Hue! App is ok, and works with Alexa with no issues.
i have several of these bulbs around house they stay connected to the wifi network lots of shades of colour to choose and you can control it with your voice by using alexa

• It turns on by itself (including middle of the night when you're trying to sleep)
• The bulb gets really hot
• Not worth the hassle
Excellent colour changing bulb once you have set up the app on your phone or pad. Excellent dimming function for people who don’t like bright lights just make sure you turn it off at the switch as it won’t switch on unless you have the app.
Brilliant , the bulb works perfectly for when you're away from home, people won't know if you are at home or not.

Got 2 of these for the kids rooms,they love them,they change colour,they dim and do party mode,all controlled from the app.To be fair a fun gadget that serves a practical purpose.

I just say ALEXA turn light on and your off.
But would have liked it a little brighter, say equivalent to a 100 watt bulb, this one is 60 watt.
