\nAfter receiving a new WiFi Hub, our CCTV stopped working. Clearly the new Hub was not as effect as the old one at transmitting its signals through walls. Our CCTV recorder is 3 rooms, with solid walls, away from the Hub. The TP Link AV1000 was easy to install and set-up. The CCTV was immediately connected and works well.
This product works perfectly. The transmitter plugs into your wifi router with the ethernet cable provided, and the wifi transmitter is then plugged into the electrical socket on the same network. I have built a detached garage which is far away from the router and therefore required a separate wifi point. The wifi repeater can either work as a separate network or use the same network name. This is also easy to do with the WPS button the router and the sync button the wifi emitter making the connection a 2 button solution.
This product worked well once I’d got my non-techie brain around how to do it. I found that watching a few videos online helped in that respect. I found the device relatively easy to set up as its own network. However, I needed the wireless extender to have the same access details as my wireless router’s. Simply pressing the WPS button on my Vodafone router did not pair the tp wireless extender with my router. In the end I had to log in to my wireless router’s admin controls by inputting its ip address and password in my tablet’s browser. Within the admin controls there is a pairing ‘button’ which when pressed counts down for two minutes while you press the pairing button on the extender. The admin controller then told me when the pairing had been successfully achieved. I then moved the extender to where I needed it and it works well. Job done.
Great piece of kit easy to install and set up now have wifi Internet in my log cabin at the bottom of a 250foot garden almost as fastcas the main house
Using this as a cheaper alternative to hard wiring internet into our log cabin at the bottom of garden. Able to carry out zoom meetings as well as watching NetFlix movies.
Needed to extend Wifi to garage for a newly installed Wiser hub for the central heating. It was extremely easy to set up and integrate into the home Wifi network using the downloaded TP-Link app. Highly recommended.
Did exactly what we needed. Used in an outbuilding some 40 metres from the house and provides a signal there and the surrounding area of land, very pleased.
So far it didn't improve my wifi signal, with my phone constantly getting disconnected from the wifi, the speed has not improved on my laptop, disappointing.

This works! Now have wi fi in my Shepherd’s Hut at the bottom of my garden. Tried others but did not work, this is excellent.

The tp link is a good product. It was on offer when we purchased it from tool station. Easy to order and collect.
After trying many boosters this product does exactly what it claims to
This is a brilliant bit of kit you plug it into the mains and router then you plug the other plug into the mains where you don't get WiFi because it's too far from the router and it gives you WiFi in that area on the TP link unit.
This was very easy to set up just plug in and connect ether net cable to router then put in the other plug where you want it and connect to the WiFi using the password on the TP plug.
Streaming is fine on several devices had a laptop an 2 phones or tablet all running off it at the same time no issues.
