Been wanting to try these for a while and the offer price was hard to resist.
Took a while longer than it should have to figure out that each on/off on the schedule needs a separate event .
Otherwise easy to use and helping manage elderly parents home remotely.
I was able to set this up wtih the app ok and I did get it working. I found it challenging to set up a detailed schedule for the plug to come on and off on the app so I need to work on that. I'm sure that is an issue with me rather than the app,

Couldn’t be simpler to set up and use, and that’s from someone who does not usually get on with tech like this. Purchased 3 for Christmas lights and have worked perfectly. Good value.
I have a number of these now. I bought a couple originally to replace some old out dated as well as broken timer sockets so I could have lamps come on whilst I was away. They are also handy for turning on decorative lights such as Christmas tree lights which are plugged into a socket or extension lead that are not readily accessible using the Tapo app.
Works perfectly after some trial and error. Had to refer to YouTube to understand how to set up.

This is the 7th Tapo plug I've bought which shows how good I think they are. Having tried other brands, this is the easiest to set up and the most reliable. Worth buying more than one to get best price. The app is good as well.
