Vented cap was easy to fit, took less than 10min. Make sure you take wire cutters as there is loads of spare to cut of the jubilee clip supplied.
Easy to install product, it has a tiny vent at the top to keep the moisture out.
At first when I picked them up I thought I had made a mistake as they seemed large, but thankfully they were perfect, as I was unable to measure the chimney width it was a bit and hope but well done Toolstation only person with these in stock at a reasonable price!

Serious corrosion after ten years necessitating expensive replacement additionally due to access. Only a skeleton left of one cap. Second problem on tapered chimney pots is that the band fixing can wriggle use in windy conditions allowing the cap to blow off the roof. Needs to be glued as a back up.
Top lids are very easy to install , and should allow the chimney to breathe
Easy to fit, supplied with an adjustable metal band (not shown in product picture) that you can tighten around the chimney pot. Low level vent cap at top.
Needed to cap an old chimney that is no longer needed and this item is perfect, took me less than 5 minutes to fit and it blends in well with the chimney pot

The top part of the fitting is great and covered the top of the chimney stack. However if your chimney is on an angle then this will not work. No matter how much I tightened the large round clip it would not hold onto the chimney. After spending a good couple of hours trying to make it work I gave up and instead called at my local DIY store and bought some long bolts to secure the top onto the chimney a better way.
