First tester had very poor and sometimes no audio (buzzer)
replacement worked fine. Staff at Rugeley depot very helpfull...
Excellent very reliable five star plus service. I would recommend this piece of kit.
Every home should have one of these , you don’t have to be an expert to use it ( read the lights),but it can give an indication of when you need to get one to have a closer look. Not many if any private homes have an installation check on a regular basis, so, whilst in no way does one of these replace one, or the use use of more sophisticated equipment a qualified electrician will use, it is a contribution to safety. A regular installation check by a qualified electrician is always the best.
Used it a couple of times then the RCD tester failed to work
Very good piece of testing for sockets,basic testing can be carried out and further more advanced test carried out if necessary. Good price.
Nice little socket tester which test the earth loop as well, also beeps while powered so you know when you trip the right fuse and the power is off.
Happy with the product in terms of build quality but disappointed it didn’t include a user manual whatsoever. In terms of using the product, to be fair you probably don’t need a manual but it could’ve done with a manual to give further explanation against any alerts.
Checked my sockets all but two passed the test turn off circuit made sure it was dead and tightened up a loose earth screw turn power back on and all good. So good piece of kit.

I bought this cor testing cabins before they go out on hire to site worked perfectly and the electrician had the same one so I was confident the welfare box was electricly safe for the people on site
Simple to use, great first line check. Good as a quick check for ongoing reassurance of household circuits. A must if doing some non-regulated DIY work, e.g. adding a spur.
Handy test kit to have found no earths on several plug sockets in my house i had just purchased ended up having a full rewire
