Just bought a second one of these to replace a badly scaled-up standard valve in another cistern. The first one has now been in use for over 3 years and there have been no problems with it. These valves are very quiet and that is a good enough reason for fitting them as well as their water saving ability. Also it is British made with the company being based in the heart of the Blackcountry ar kid !!
Easy to fit costs more but you can get parts to replace when it weares out
Amazing bit of kit fitted many for customers .
Brass shanked so very hard to crossthread unlike the plastic versions if your not very expericed.
This feels a good quality item and it certainly is strong well thought out on how to fit it and how to commission it would use agein
Expensive and perhaps over-engineered but does work well. Bought because of ease of servicing.
Collar at bottom makes for an easy seal - sealed first time - but is limiting if short of space with flush mechanism at same end of cistern.
Valve didn’t shut off on first use but after disassembling and checking, it worked fine.
Has been in for 3 weeks. No problems.
EASY TO FIT AND ADJUST. WORKS AS IT SHOULD . HAVE USED IN THE PAST AND WILL USE AGAIN
Works well & very quiet in use. Easy to fit & adjust.
issues faced straight after installation and had to apply diy measures
A really well make inlet valve. Simple to fit with the brass tail neatly machined with two flats which allow you to hold the position of the valve whilst tightening the nut. Adjusting the level and setup of the float was so easy
The delayed opening which reduces inlow during a flush is a very smart economy feature.
Overall very pleased with it and well worth the extra cost for a product designed to last.
Easy to fit, doesn't leak, fills up my cistern. UK made
Probably my fault for buying a smaller unit. Works well but sometimes not enough volume of water to clear all the waste in one go
Its simple and works, good seal to cistern without tightening too much
Simple compact float. Easy to adjust for height/fill level.
Best bottom entry ball valve I’ve used, always get one with BRASS TAIL to save cross threading it.
Quality part, easy to fit & adjust float level, has brass threads to attach mains water pipe
Easy to fit not as quiet in operation but does the job
Easy to install and to set up. It appears to be a very well made product.
Very easy to install & adjust. Good quality brass fittings so no leaky stripped plastic threads.
Good product,Thomas Dudley have always produced Quality products
Simple and straightforward to install especially if space is tight within the cistern, brass shank reduces risks of cross threading so worth paying a little more for this feature.
