easy to order, easy to fit , does what it says on the box
I purchased this immersion despite reading the reviews. However, it seems the poor quality not only applies to the element's working longevity, but also to the construction. I was tightening the neutral to the element post clamp and the spot welds failed leaving the clamp attached to the wire and a bare post. Returned to the store after disassembly. Wasted time and effort.
Well packed in the box with new gasket and general information. Easy to install, but found my original removal/install box wrench tool was slightly too small to fit over new immersion. I could install it most of the way, but had to use my large stillson to fully tighten it.
Fitted and working, hope this will be the case as and when needed.

Not longlife, bought 19/02/25, stopped working today

Unfortunately this product was faulty and made strange periodic noises with noticeable vibration. Partly heated water on operation. Installed by NICEIC electrician. Had to be removed and a new one installed by plumber purchased from a competitor store instead (which works). Why should we, the customer, be penalised with de-install and return costs whilst the supplier suffers no such penalty? There perhaps should be a compensation for supplying poor quality equipment. Refund provided no problem. Getting nervous nowadays of cheap quality goods from Toolstation. Shame really.

Really good quality product with a really nice flange seal easy to fit ,nice connections onthe terminals would recommend 👌

The rating given is nominal. I purchased this to install into a new cylinder. Just as well I read the instructions first as I had missed the line in the advert that it is not compatible with stainless steel because the thermostat is house in a copper tube. I returned it to Toolstation who gave me an instant credit.
Fitted easily and works well. Haets up the water quickly and doesn't blow a fuse!
Lasted 13 months until it corroded and started leaking through the element sheath.
Reasonably priced and seems well made. Not fitted yet as the old one is proving a pain to remove... so back down tot he store to get a new spanner!
brought this emersion for the incoloy (for use in hard water areas) was quick and easy to replace no ptfe or pastes needed as comes with a fibre washer seal although the proper emersion spanner is needed to get a good water tight seal.
would recommend this if you live in a hard water area.
Hopefully will last as long as the previous one did
Excellent service throughout, I’ve always used my local Toolstation at Fareham, Segensworth for most of my DIY projects, I find them very helpful and competitive on prices.
The Tesla immersion heater element is of very good quality and long lasting as I have fitted one in the past approx 5 years ago and it’s still working fine, I would certainly recommend this product, it’s very good value for money
