The thermostat is cutting out when the water temp is only around 30 degrees (I appreciate the element is going to be hotter than the water, but this seems a large difference). The thermostat does reset, but can take up to an hour. The result is a tank much lower than 60 degrees. Tesla support have been superb, though.
It's been 4 days since install no issues so far. Temperature setting could be bit higher 70C is a max on this thermostat
It works perfectly , set temperature = same water temperature , accurate.
It worked okay when I put it in hot water, and it seems to work since I fitted it. The one that came out was about fifteen years old, so if this lasts as well, I will be happy. (If I'm still here). The original did not have a reset button, and things got rather hot. This one is supposed to trip out.

Perfect replacement for fixing faulty immersion heaters

Looked promising but in reality the thermostat's head was too big to fit in amongst the immersion heater's terminals. Neither the Toolsation website nor the product's datasheet gives head dimensions; had to use another maker's part from another store.
It works fine, but only in one of my immersion heaters, not in the other. The reason for that is the size - it goes in in one orientation only, and that makes it too tight on the heater terminals, so you might need to try it in your heater and be prepared to find another option.
Easy to fit but not very accurate. Controls to 52 deg when set at 70 deg
Thermostat at best price. Always worth checking the thermostat before completely replacing the heater
It is easy to fit and the temperature is preset but it can be adjusted if required.
I have bought several of these, but find that the longevity is not great.
Compact head should fit any immersion heater. East to adjust required temperature with marked dial - some are not marked which is daft!
