Great little kit. Really easy to follow the instructions and cleaned and jointed up a SWA cable that had been damaged by a digger. Kit works perfectly, everythig included. Resin is easy to mix and pour. Plastic casing fits together well. Cables are joined with clamp adjusted by an allen key, it makes for a much more secure fitting than other kits that use crimped connections.
This armoured cable jointing kit is an excellent solution for repairing damaged garden cables. The installation was quick and easy, especially when following the included instructions. Everything worked perfectly after the repair, highly recommended for a hassle-free fix!

Was nervous doing this as a DIY'er but bought the kit and searched Filoform cable joints on YouTube and there's a few really good step by step videos. Managed it without a single leak and has worked perfectly!
Works well, seals well with added tap on cable ends. Takes time to cure.
These connection kits are simply amazing - and such good value. Never worry about moisture in a connection, or risking damage to the cable after exposing the cores to join. These kits set like concrete and will outlast my lifetime I'm sure
Box filled with everything you need to complete the job. Allen key did start to slip on tightening but just used my own. Instructions were very clear and in colour.
Item as displayed on the Toolstation website. Follow the dimensions as instructed. It is a little fiddly if you haven't done it before, just be patient.
When you have joined the cables with the provided connectors, cover each conductor individually with the tape provided. When I clicked the unit together ready to receive the resin, I temporarily sealed around the unit either side of the pouring hole to ensure it doesn't open! You can remove the tape later if required. Leave to set, job done.

Worked well, not needed one before, digger clipped a wire. adjustable to size up to 6mm2, we only needed a small, armoured cable repair. Adjust size by cutting away torpedo to size needed, packet contains two liquids separated by a robust clip, easily and cleanly mixed before opening packet. Very liquid resin so flows well around cable. It just worked very well. Would no hesitate to purchase again if needed

Great product. I was called to a hob where ab armoured cable that had been struck in the ground. Popped into the local Toolstation and was back on the job within 20min. Everything supplied and fitted within the hour. Minimum down time and a very happy customer.
