Worked perfectly had superglue on curtains and was totally removed. No trace left.
Works extremely well. Essential if re-gluing to first remove all the old glue. This and a Stanley blade did the job.
If it's metal parts, some heat will sort it out, but if you get cyanoacrylate on your skin, then this, after a few seconds or tens of seconds, will turn it into a paste that you can wipe off. Nothing is more annoying than getting a tiny amount of set cyanoacrylate on the finger I use biometrically to get into my MacBook pro.
Does what it says on the bottle bonds every thing even fingers
Not sure that this stuff is very effective based on my experience of using it.
Excellent product went above and beyond my expectations. Removed superglue from my beautiful wooden laminate floor so happy
I somehow managed to get several Loctite superglue splodges on my (beech finish) computer workstation/desk - it looked unsightly and really spoiled it. I took a chance on this de-bonder after reading the reviews, and applied a few drops to each of the lumps, waited a minute or two and then wiped with a cotton rag, it took a few applications, with a few minutes wait after applying the de-bonder each time, but it worked and removed the superglue completely, leaving an unmarked desktop. Well pleased with it, it goes a long way and not expensive at all.
Be patient, it works. Had some boots glued to the new fire station floor for a day so the glue was well cured.
There was lot of glue used so just kept applying, waiting then wiping and gradually it came off. Keeping a spare bottle in my locker just incase this unforeseen event happens again!
Doesn't work very well left on for 1 hour and didn't debond seems to struggle with very close joints.
as always a quality product from toolstation stores
Didn't even soften the CA glue {(Everbuild) Gave up after 5 applications
Good product, works well. Good price. Doesn't seem to affect plastics. Good service.
This is a fantastic product and was in stock and available at the counter. It saved what looked like a disaster with glue on a brand new floor.
Works well - takes 7 or 8 minutes. Just beware it can have bad effect on other delicate plastics that might be near the super glue joint you are trying to debond
Works a treat. Used to release a misaligned superglued guitar nut. The nut came free just 30 seconds after a small application of this releasing agent. Very impressed!
It’s only been used once but the volume of super glue which leaked from its vessel and is stuck to a shelf is making it hard to release with the de-bonder. So I can’t fault the de-bonder, it’s the job I’ve given it but I will keep trying.
Absolutely wonderful glue debonder. You have to be patient and apply several concentrated drops on spot to eventually remove the glue depending on glue strength.
A small price to pay for an otherwise expensive mistake.
I repaired a guitar headstock and (stupidly) decided to use superglue as well as wood glue.Unfortunately for me the superglue seeped into the truss rod cavity (shock horror) and it was SOLID, but I used this and after a looong time adding it and scraping it it loosened and cleared completely.I nearly gave up on many occasions but the guitar was £450 new so I gave it my best shot but beware it is a very slow process.
This product works well and is a mustif you ever use any super glue
