Bought for opening jars. Brilliant - far better than things sold as "jar openers".
Couldn’t have stripped down mixer tap without it and no doubt will be handy in the future
Not impressed, slick rubber on oil filters does not make easy removal.
Really handy to use on a wide selection of things. Helps you grip things like jar lids and pop bottle lids.

Ok for filters that are fitted correctly, but wont touch something stuck.
These are not the best, don’t tend to grip much but I suppose at the end of the day you get what you pay for!

As I get older and lose gripping power I'm often struggling to open jars, unscrew large caps and generally turn things that I once found easy to move. I bought this to turn the housing of a ceiling-mounted extractor fan that just wouldn't budge. With the strap it was a piece of cake. Wish I'd thought of it before!
