Good product, as well as the zigzag adhesive pattern shown on the box I put a continuous bead all around the edge and plenty on the ends. So far so good.
great product easy to fit , really impressed.would recomend
Easy to install, but do make sure you clean and wire brush the area where the seal will be fixed. This seal is to stop the run off from a communal forecourt into my garage, where it had pooled and puddled this winter.
Garage, great for stopping water from entering under door. Comes with a decent glue and straight forward to stick down. First time it rained, noticed some damp patches, so put a bit more glue under in those places. Garage is now nice and dry.
I have been meaning to get one of these for some time now. Good price, everything you need in the box and it was easy to install. We’ll see how it works over the winter.
Great product, looks easy to fit and everything you need is in the box
No more rain blowing under the garage door. It was easy to install but I did need more adhesive than supplied. It is quite unobstrusive in use and the white insert makes it easy to see.
Easy to fix to floor once cleaned and does the job it's designed for
The threshold was easy to work on even though it was curled packed in the box. You just need to straighten it a bit for it to lay on the floor flat. What mattered was the sealant. Not to be fooled by the demonstration video, it was extremely hard to get the sealant out with a caulk gun. I utterly had to use both hand strength to get it out but still in a very slow and unstable flow. If I had to do this task again, I would source my own sticking sealant and give up the stock one.
While the threshold seal itself was fine the adhesive supplied in the kit had set in the tube and having already cut the threshold seal to size rendered the kit useless. Maybe I should've checked the date on the adhesive first as it was over two years old. Kit should have a use before date on it.
Good product, easy to fit and looks neat when finished. Product is packed into a roll and I would recommend lying it flat a day or two before fitting.
When the threshold had been uncurled and left overnight to flattened out it was quite easy to fix. Waiting for the next storm to see how well it works.
perfect product to prevent rain dust etc getting in to new shed and as made of rubber perfect as tractor mower runs over it with ease needed to take out of box and lay out flat in warm room for couple of days before fitting as very curled from time in box adhesive very difficult to apply from tube but appears to have held it well
looks good not used yet will be putting down in summer
adhesive and seal are good, just make sure the surface is prepared properly as per instructions makes a tidy job.
Food product yet get the silicone gun as well to make it work
Tried other means of sealing bottom of up and over garage door without success. I looked around and this strip looked the one to achieve what I wanted and reviews were good. I followed one reviews advice and un rolled strip out and held it fast with some paint tins left it for a couple of days. Measured gap and trimmed strip to fit applied adhesiveband closed garage door to ensure snug fit and left for 24 hours. Garage door is now 100% draught proofed at the bottom.
Stopped water getting through the garage door even with a hollow area in the center of my garage floor . The adhesive grabbed the Stormgaurd instantly. As I was working on my own I found it best to drape most of the Stormgaurd over my shoulder as I worked from one end
Good price and easy to cut and fix. Warmed glue in bucket of hot water before using.
A good purchase. Easy to install and seems to do the job well.
