I applied Stormdry cream to the exterior brick wall of my 1930s house, and the results have been impressive. Even after several recent rainy days, I measured the internal moisture levels and saw a noticeable reduction. The cream was easy to apply, and it’s clearly doing its job. Great product — highly recommended!
Used this product before , found it easy to apply , and I know it works well , ive looked into alot of similar product ,yes they were cheaper but I would recomend stormdry as a first and only option to achieve long lasting quality results .
great product, so easy to use and apply, applied with a roller, dries back vvery quickly
35 year guarantee it says it all for me. No other does this.
Excellent product, better to apply on a very warm day. Highly recommend this product.
Recommended to us by a damp company came to sort out a small damp problem in some bricks around my parent's fireplace. At the price, I showed them the link to check I was getting the right stuff.
A couple of ladders later got me close enough to reach two faces of the chimney. A quick brush to get any loose dirt and stuff off, then put this on using a paint roller on a decorators pole. It was quite easy to see where it had and hadn't gone on as I worked my way down from the top of the chimney. By the time I was half-way, you could see that the top part had already soaked in to the bricks.
Standing on one-foot on a ladder, on the roof, with the base of said ladder only anchored with a couple of concrete blocks isn't my most favourite place to be, but this went on very quickly and easily, so I didn't have to spend too much time up there.
A little goes quite a long way. By the time all four sides (3 regular sized and 1 just over double that as it's on a gable end above a single storey extension) and the top had had a decent coat, I've used about half the tub. Plenty left to put a coat on my chimney at some point, and if there's any spare after that I'll probably end up put the remainder on my parent's as a second coat.
Only time will tell on effectiveness and longevity, but it seems to be alright so far.
This is a magic cream, that waterproof proofs immediately. I put one coat on top of some render on my chimney. after 2 days i try wet the area to apply another coat of render by wetting the surface , but found the water that i applied turned into water balls drops and run straight off.
Goes on easy with a roller but we will have to wait until the bad weather to see how it performs
best price I could find locally
Excellent product for stopping moisture coming through brickwork in heavily exposed areas
Also great price
Very easy to utilise and apply onto a large brick wall.
We were recommended to use this on our old cottage we had just removed rendering to expose the stone. I rung the company as it didn’t say on the container whether to stir. They were very helpful. It was easy to apply , we used a brush as our walls are lumpy stone. You could see where you’ve applied it so you don’t over apply. It dries clear so no need to worry about colour change. IT WORKS!!!! The rain beads and just runs off, no soaking into the stone. Really pleased with it. It’s expensive but it does exactly what it promises. I’ve recommended it to my son for his gable end brickwork.
Read many good reviews about this product,
It went on easily and dried to an invisible finish.
Now lets wait and see how it performs.
Great stuff on my 1900 building but its the price...... but you must pay for good.
One of the best product. Does what it says on the bucket
Easy to apply, goes on very well without drips. Does what it says, very pleased with the result.
Good stuff works great price is high but lasts 25 years so they say
While a lot of people might be put off by the price I can say from experience that this product is money will spend. It's easy to apply and once it has had time to cure it's amazing how well it repels water
Got in next working day with click and collect. No problems. Item great
A great product very easy to apply and it performs as well as it says on the tub.
easy to apply, next few days bricks are completely dry up, now just waiting for autumn to test it
