The STIHL SH 56 Petrol ShredderVacuum is a compact, handheld for the occasional user. This handheld shredder vacuum blower has a specialised shredder blade on the fan wheel which reduces garden waste. It also converts easily into a handheld petrol leaf blower. Fitted with a semi-automatic choke and stop switch for smooth starts, this blower automatically resets to the starting position to help prevent accidental flooding. The SH 56 includes a 45L capacity waste collection bag. The bag has a strap for easy transport while the shreddervacuum operates. Comfortable to hold, it features a multi-function control handle that houses all the engine controls. Easy, comfortable thumb-operated control means the operators hand never leaves the handle. The SH 56 is driven by a 2-stroke engine with stratified charge. A fuel-free layer of air is created between the burned charge in the combustion chamber and the fresh charge in the crankcase, reducing the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle. This results in more power with a lower weight, up to 20 lower fuel consumption than regular 2-stroke engines and significantly reduced exhaust emissions. A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting pulls required following extended breaks in operations. The STIHL ElastoStart reduces the shock caused by the compression of the engine during starting. The compression shock is taken away from the users joints and muscles through a spring or rubber element in the starter handle.
