The door-chain is strong, great value and very easy to fit, I gave four stars because it only comes with screws suitable for wooden doors. Why? Perhaps the makers could provide self- tapping screws too so fitting to both types of doors are in the pack. I had to purchase a box of self-tapping screws as I have a composite door.

The fixing screws are poor quality. One sheared off while being turned by hand.
Good quality security chain and easy to fit. Bought both the brass plated and chrome versions for different properties.
Not had the time to fit this yet, but from the look and feel of the chain it will be very sturdy and ideal for a front door.

Purchased this chain over cheaper options because it looked heavier. I was happy with the chain, however i had to buy ^jack nuts^ separately, required if fitting to a uPVC door or frame, and these were quite difficult to find. Install delayed by a week as a result so only three stars out of five.
Looks very strong. Slow to figure out how to slot a ring through the gap. Realised a ring didn't. There's flat piece of metal half way. Very tight fit against the wall. Could do with a longer chain as a lot of doors have a deep door frame jam. Once open there is only a 80mm gap.
Very strong and easy to fix to the door. Can take a lot of pressure against it.
Good quality, only letdown no fixings for upvc door.
