Whilst the handle itself appeared to be good quality, it was very fiddly to insert / remove the keys.
Also, there wasn't a rubber gasket as was fitted to the handle being replaced
I bought this as a replacement for my Wessex up and over garage door. I took the old lock down to the Hartlepool depot to check the fixing centres to ensure it fit. I did need to cut the spindle to length , but this was no issue. The lock fits and works perfectly, so I’m well happy with my purchase.
Great item fits the door perfectly after we lost the keys to the garage . The handle is in a chrome finish that looks great .
It feel substantial and good quality but after a few months the surface has become pitted, otherwise I am happy with it.

This seems to be compatible with other locks of a similar type, so it was easy to fit as a replacement for a broken one. It works well enough, but sometimes the lock barrel can rotate beyond the point where it is supposed to, indicating more clearance in the mechanism than you might expect. The security is probably not especially high, but it's better than no lock or a broken lock and would prevent casual entry to the garage.

I purchased this lock to replace one that had broken. Fitted perfectly with no adjustments required.
Needed to replace the lock as key was lost so for the price this handle was excellent value. Its well built and looks like a quality item. The chrome finish allows it to be fitted to any coloured door and look the part. Comes with two keys.

I took my old garage door handle to the store. The assistant and I checked it against the new one and at first glance it wouldn’t fit - the spindle was too long but importantly the legs were too short. The assistants comment ‘it’s got long screws’ was really helpful because I decided I could probably use tubing spacers if necessary.
I cut the spindle to length using a hacksaw and the longer screws (I even had to shorten those) hold the handle firmly in place, without spacers.

Handle is ok , it would be better if it wasn’t hollow at the back ( really uncomfortable to open and turn The key doesn’t go in smoothly, but it was cheap and works. Get what you pay for
Not the cheapest but a direct replacement fitted in 5 mins
Item great but went up in price by 20% in a week, used to replace one with lost keys, cheaper than having new keys cut, easy to fit and looks smart
