The Stanley mitre box and store was bought for my 9 year old grandson. He found it easy to use producing clean accurate cuts. It’s so good I will be borrowing it back! Tool station were great I clicked and collected. It was affordable and available.
Ideal for occasional light weight work. I used it for square and 45 Deg cuts on cable trunking I was fitting.
I had 1 mitre joint to do this tool came to the rescue. A perfect tool and a perfect job achieved.
I bought this because I needed a mitre box AND a fine toothed saw. You can buy a cheap mitre box for a few quid. If you have a fine toothed saw, just go for the cheap plastic box. The saw supplied is okay, but not of the best quality

Thin plastic lacking rigidity making it difficult to clamp anything to. The saw is decent though.

Purchased to cut some skirting board. Good quality saw but the box is small and no good for skirting 100mm or more in height. There are workarounds but none are ideal. Had to purchase a larger box to accomodate my 118mm skirting. Would be helpful if Toolstation gave internal dimensions in the product description.

Handy little mitre box bought to cut small sections of plastic trim, did the job really well.
Box was fine but the saw was unbelievably blunt. Totally useless
Cheap and cheerful. Did the job i wanted it for. Easy to set up and use. It was for a one off job but definately will be useable for more jobs.
This worked perfect for me. I needed an emergency replacement partway through the day as my electric mitre saw just died suddenly and I had about 5 angled end cut to finish off a small job. Worked brilliant and saved me rushing into rush buying a heavy duty replacement. The saw cuts really neatly and the block slots keep your lines straight. I'll use this a lot more but it for small jobs and light duties so doesn't replace a proper electric or battery mitre saw. Buy this with confidence as long as you know the level of work it will manage and its life-span.
This saw box has done it's job, however I would not recommend it if you expect it to last for extended use.

The mitre box is cheap & flimsy , the saw was 'blunter' than my old one it was replacing !
