Nice little chainsaw. Not the most powerful as its not really intended for felling trees but easily capable of tackling branches
My first impression is that it is well made and solidly built. Typical Stanley quality really. It’s light and easy to use and cuts well. Time will tell, but I think it’s a really good buy.
Great little saw but you will need a few batteries and if i didnt already have stanley power tools wouldnt of gotten it as there are cheaper options
Day 1 of using a new tool is probably not a great time to write a review since I can't comment on the long term survivability. Short term impressions are: Reasonably solid construction. Not that heavy. Nicely balanced. Cuts well, battery life good. The saw comes with a charger and a single battery (but I had a couple extra from other tools).
I just got this 3days ago its OK but it leaks oil you have to leave it on it side to stop oil leaking out when not in use. Plus battery takes along time to charge you need two batteries.
The chainsaw is light and easy to use. It’s got a lot of plastic so I don’t know if it will be long lasting. Annoyingly, Toolstation did not message me to say it was ready for collection, so I couldn’t use it when I really needed it.
Does exactly what it says on the tin, works realy well and doesn't struggle atall
Ordered 10 days ago for overnight delivery. Still hasn't arrived at my local store nor can they tell me when it will or provide a refund.....absolutely useless. If you ring the 'hotline' number you get put on hold with 45 people in front of you.
Great cordless chainsaw, did the job on 6 metre conifers roughly about 20 year old trees only draw back that i can mention is the lack of second battery that would have been really handy, fortunately i did have an extra battery apart from that another happy purchase from the team at Toolstation ... Only gave this item 4 star for the lack of 2nd battery
Impressive little chainsaw. Nice and light. Only used it once, but it cut through several sizeable tree stumps which needed to come down. Only reason for not offering a 5 star review is the fact that the battery doesn't last that long, but will buy another battery as back up. Otherwise, really pleased with this purchase. It is going to be extremely useful and versatile for intended use.
